DIA RESEARCH MARTECH INC. (CEO & President: Tetsuro Hanaoka; Head Office: Tokyo) announced that it will officially change its corporate name to Mitsubishi Chemical Techno-Research Corporation, as of October 1, 2007.
Dia Research Institute, Inc. (DRI) founded by Mitsubishi Chemical Industries Ltd. (MCI) as 100% subsidiary, and Martech, Inc. (MI) founded by Mitsubishi Petrochemical Co.,Ltd. (MPC) and six affiliated companies merged to form DIA RESEARCH MARTECH INC. on July 1997. During its ten year history as DIA RESEARCH MARTECH INC. we have grown up and acquired a reputation as a consulting company based on our expertise related to intellectual property, strategic information and technology. As we will reach 10 year anniversary on coming October 1st, we will rename our corporate name to Mitsubishi Chemical Techno-Research Corporation to start our new decade.
By introducing “Mitsubishi Chemical” in the new name of our company, we are eager to clarify our position as the center of technological research for the Mitsubishi Chemical Holdings Group, and we will be continuing to advance our expertise in broad and sophisticated consulting services and expanding our presence in the global market.
